More Than Milk Co was founded in 2014 by Pete Johnston, an Albion Park local who grew up working on his father's milk run. From a young age, Pete developed a deep understanding of what it takes to run a reliable, community-focused delivery operation.
After taking over his father's milk run and building lasting relationships across the local area, Pete went on to pursue other careers before returning to what he knows best.
In 2014, Pete came back to dairy. He founded More Than Milk Co with a simple but powerful mission: deliver premium dairy products directly to food service businesses while keeping profits in the community and supporting Australian farmers.
Today, More Than Milk Co is proud to be the largest Norco distributor in NSW, serving cafes, restaurants, and food service businesses from Wollongong to Nowra and the Southern Highlands, with the same personal touch that started it all.
Our Journey
Pete Johnston grew up in Albion Park working alongside his father on a local milk run, learning the rhythms of the dairy industry and the value of reliable, personal service from a young age.
Pete took over his father's milk run, building strong relationships with local customers and deepening his knowledge of what food service businesses actually need.
Between his time on the milk run and founding More Than Milk Co, Pete pursued other careers, all of which strengthened the work ethic and community values he brings to the business today.
Pete returned to his roots and established More Than Milk Co, with a clear mission to deliver premium dairy products directly to food service businesses across the Illawarra and South Coast.
